Polymeric materials that improve the performance of camera mobile phone processors and computer processors
Silecs Oy develops and manufactures new polymeric materials in Finland that improve the performance of microcircuits and the image quality of new camera mobile phones. Thereby, the company’s materials enable electronics industry to develop better mobile phones, computers and other electronic equipment that is in daily use.
The manufacturers of microcircuits and digital camera circuits are working actively to develop their products and processes and constantly need new materials to develop and manufacture a new generation of products. The products of Silecs Oy respond to this demand and also simplify the manufacture of microcircuits as the number of process steps decreases. This in turn reduces production costs and lowers the end product prices for consumers. Silecs also develops optical materials together with leading display manufacturers in order to improve the image quality of flat panel TVs, monitors and mobile phones.
The R&D of Silecs Oy is based on Finnish excellence in material technology. The company manufactures its products in Finland based on patented material technology and processes. The company was established in 2000 and its activities are based on long-term research carried out in Finland. The company has more than 30 international patents and patent applications on its products and technologies. Silecs Oy is a privately held company financed by international investors.
