Suorakanava Oy develops, produces and maintains a free Internet service, Rakentaja.fi, intended for builders and renovators. Its essential elements are:

- building instructions from the foundations to the last skirting board;
- realistic building costs;
- alternative methods with product examples;
- online guides and building projects monitored by the online service;
- forms, plans and calculation services;
- experts answer questions, and an archive of questions and answers;
- builders’ own member pages;
- an electronic web magazine is published every week.

Six years of strong growth: the development work continues.

- 140,000 registered members and users.
- Five million visits per year.
- Other online services: Puutarha.net (gardening) and Sisustaja.com (furnishing).
