Judging of entries
The entries to the contest will be treated as confidential. If the entry involves protection by industrial property rights, it is the responsibility of the participant to apply for protection. The prizewinning entries will be published. If the contestant wishes to set certain limits to the publicity, it must be stated in the entry form.
Regional Innofinland Committees / JuriesThe Regional Jury judges and selects the winners in the regions. The aim is to draw special attention to regional characteristics and to extensively pay attention to inventiveness, not only to technological inventions but also to service innovations. The Regional Jury presents to the National Jury a selected number of candidates for winner of the Innofinland Prize of the President of the Republic. The entries that continue to the nation-wide contest must fulfil the requirements in the rules for awarding Innofinland Prizes of the President of the Republic. |
Innofinland Working CommitteeThe Working Committee judges all national-level entries that are participating from the Finnish regions, asks for further statements, if necessary, and presents all national-level entries to the Innofinland Jury. |
Innofinland JuryThe Innofinland Jury / Management Group judges all national-level entries and makes a proposal on the national Innofinland Prizewinners to the President of the Republic. |
President of the RepublicOn the national Innovation Day, the President of the Republic awards the national Innofinland Prizes at the main Innofinland awards ceremony. Winners will be personally notified approximately three weeks before the awards ceremony. |
